What's On

Sarsen Survey
We have set ourselves a slightly bonkers mission: to record all 1500 sarsen stones in the Valley of Stones! This is to provide an incredible dataset that will have implications for the protection and understanding of the landscape for decades to come.
If you’d like to join in this survey, join us for some training first (online workshop or pre-recorded video). Once you're ready the survey can be done in your own time or on our set days.
Sarsen Sundays are a perfect way to spend a winter afternoon, enjoying the peace of the Valley of Stones whilst contributing towards this citizen science project. Volunteers who record over 50 sarsens will be declared a sarsen champion and we'll celebrate with results and cream tea in the spring.
